This is a patient of African American descent who suffered nasal trauma resulting in a mild saddle nose deformity and a laceration of the nasal tip.  He underwent an ear cartilage graft harvest and placement in the nose to reconstruct the appearance and airway of the nose.  Please note the incision at the base of the nose healed very well with a very minimal scar.  Additionally, the nasal tip scar looks somewhat better just by doing the rhinoplasty.
